Stroke, brain injury and disease can unfortunately have devastating effects on communication. Impeded communication can interfere with interpersonal interactions, vocational and educational activities, and even the activities of daily living. Our team of speech therapists is prepared to analyze each patient’s specific needs, and use the latest in therapeutic techniques in order to maximize recovery.

Here at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation, our licensed therapists endeavor to include both patients and family members in every step of the recovery process. The highest priority is successful communication – should the case be that maximum recovery will not meet a patient’s communication needs, we also offer the opportunity to train in alternative communication systems.
