Physical Rehabilitation at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation Services and Amenities

Physical Rehabilitation, also known as Physical Therapy, is a treatment plan that develops strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and balance. These results are achieved through physical interventions and on-going evaluations.

Here at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation, a licensed physical therapist will meet with each patient to develop a comprehensive treatment plan after evaluating individual goals and needs. The personalized plan may include techniques in manual therapy, functional exercises, use of electric modalities, therapeutic activities, neurodevelopmental techniques, and pool therapy. Our on-site gym is the best in the Boise region and has the latest in cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment in order to ensure each patient will maximize the benefits of their treatment program.

Education is an essential part of any Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation treatment plan. After treatment ends, we ensure that neither the patient nor their loved ones are left asking “What now?” Expert staff members offer training to assure safety in handling the patient’s limited mobility and understanding of physical progress as well as limitations.
